Proposal

For this first short wave I want to wrtie a humor piece based on another fictional work, which our class seemed to enjoy during media presentations like the Macbeth facebook statuses. The piece will be a letter from one character to another character in the Star Wars movie series. These characters will be the charasmatic Han Solo and Chewbacca. Chewbacca has been crashing at Han Solo's pad for a long time, and both he and his wife Leia are getting a bit sick it. I plan on throwing in a lot of refrences to the Star Wars series. In order to prepare, I want to watch the original 3 movies and take notes. Also, with online research, I want to find what other fans find particularly funny about Star Wars. I then hope to compile this letter by Sunday the 31st of January, when I will start the editing process. I think that Star Wars fans will really enjoy it, and maybe even some people who haven't seen all of them will get some of the obvious pop culture refrences.

Wave 2 Final blog

YAY! Wave 2 is over, and I'm really happy about how my final peice turned out. It was something I was interested in, and I hope that interset is shared with our readers. The piece was named "I've Got Nothing", the name of the song which the prject created. I think my enthusiasm shows and I had a lot of information. On the page on the website I also plan to put a link or insert the music video. My weakness was probably my slight bias, which I changed by adding in some negative views last minute. I'm also not sure if I have a fluid chain of thought. I ebleive this is more of the news article I want to write in my future, but next time I would like to write about soemthing untold and important....I just need to figure out what that is. Otherwise my article is fun and interesting, so I think it will be a great addition to the newspaper.
